About The Founder
Hi I am Komal Patel, I completed my engineering in Electronics in 2023 and later joined my family’s electronics business. While it was a valuable experience, I realised early on that my real interest lay elsewhere. Skincare and makeup had always been deeply personal to me, not as a trend, but as something I genuinely cared about. Anyone who knows me closely knows how naturally drawn I’ve always been to skincare. Wanting to explore this passion further, I moved to London to pursue my MBA in Marketing Management from the University of Greenwich. That experience helped me understand brands, consumers, and strategy but more importantly, it helped me realise that skincare was the one space where my personal curiosity and professional learning truly aligned.
Over the years, I personally used everything from well-known global brands to medicinal tubes and clinical treatments. Unfortunately, most of them made my skin worse, some caused breakouts, some led to irritation and redness, while others resulted in tiny bumps and sensitivity. That phase taught me an important lesson: skin cannot be forced or rushed. Every skin type is different, but one thing is common, skin needs to be respected. It needs to feel calm, hydrated, comfortable, and safe before anything else. That understanding shaped how I view skincare today, and it became the foundation of how I approach building products at SEORE.
A Personal Beginning
The journey started with a personal search for calm, healthy, and balanced skin — not the pursuit of “glass skin” perfection, but skin that feels comfortable and cared for.
Discovering Korean Skincare
Driven by curiosity and passion, I travelled to Korea to attend a major global skincare event, exploring advanced innovations, unique formulations, and unconventional ingredients shaping modern skincare.
Learning from Global Experts
During the visit, I connected with founders and manufacturers, sharing a clear vision — to build a skincare brand focused on long-term skin health rather than temporary trends.
Research & Testing Phase
After returning to India, months were dedicated to studying formulations, testing samples personally, and understanding how Korean skincare philosophies could work for Indian skin.
Adapting for Indian Skin
Climate, pollution, lifestyle, and skin sensitivity differences revealed that products couldn’t simply be replicated — formulations needed thoughtful customization for Indian conditions.
Hands-On Formulation Process
Active ingredient levels were refined, multiple sample rounds were tested, and formulations were carefully adjusted until each product felt balanced, safe, and effective.
